About Restaurante Gregorio El Pescador

Let me introduce you to Restaurante Gregorio El Pescador, a relaxed restaurant tucked along Calle Iglesia, 11, 35660 Corralejo, Las Palmas, Spain, where the mood is easygoing and the focus is on enjoying good food without any fuss. From the moment you arrive, it feels like a place locals return to and visitors quickly adopt, thanks to its welcoming setup and simple, confident approach to dining. I like how the restaurant balances comfort and flavor, making it just as suitable for a slow dine-in meal as it is for a quick bite when you’re exploring Corralejo. Outdoor seating adds to the charm, especially on warm days, while delivery options keep things convenient when you want to stay in. The menu leans toward variety, which makes choosing fun rather than stressful, since you can move from fresh salads to small plates designed for sharing without skipping a beat. Drinks are clearly part of the experience here, with a solid selection of beer, wine, cocktails, and spirits that pair naturally with the food, and coffee is always an option when you want to slow things down. What stands out to me is how Restaurante Gregorio El Pescador feels flexible; you can eat healthy, snack late at night, or settle in for a longer meal, all in the same comfortable space. The atmosphere stays casual and friendly, so conversations flow easily and time doesn’t feel rushed. It’s the kind of restaurant where you can drop in after a beach day, meet friends for small plates, or enjoy a relaxed evening with a glass of wine, all while feeling genuinely looked after. Everything about the place feels straightforward yet thoughtful, which makes introducing it easy and enjoying it even easier. I often mention the late-night food and salad bar options because they suit different moods, and the overall service feels attentive without being overbearing, which keeps the experience relaxed and approachable.

Very cool place. We went looking for Oscar’s tapas because my sister recommended it. But when we got there it was closed. Luckily for us this place was open and it was super busy. They managed to seat 4 of us. I’d say we had one of our best meals of our holiday in this place. We had the paella which was made fresh and served at the table. Nice atmosphere. Seemed like mainly locals were eating in this place. Which is always a good sign. Highly recommend xx

Good food overall, but some meals we’ve had better (like gambas al ajillo, papas, chiporones, mojos) The pulpo and fish a la plancha on the other hand were delicious. The papas that came with the fish also were great, you could tell they were fresh. We had other papas as a starter and they were colder and not as good. However everyone who served us was nice and smiling and really making an effort to attend us, we received the food very quickly and overall the service was fast.

Yummi yummi experience! The food is sensational - the menu has lots of variety, from fish to meat (many traditional dishes). Super portions (you can also choose to pick half or full portions from the starters, so than you can try more). Fair prices - €86 for 3 starters, 2 mains, water coffee and a bottle of wine. 10 out of 10 experience! Definitely recommended

Decent food, although somewhat missing the final touch. Very good prices and friendly staff but not very attentive, we waited for bill for a long time.

We had the seafood platter to share (it was a single serving at 19€ but definitely can be shared if you order some other starters). Seafood was fresh. We had fried cheese with jame and fried aubergines and two semisweet white wine. It is just one corner turn from the corralejo beachfront so it was a great place to have lunch after a morning at the beach.

Nice restaurant. It gets very busy so best to book. Large menu food choice of tapas. What we had was fine and reasonably priced. Only issue was trying to pay. 30.minutes ffs. Enjoy, we did except trying to pay.

I am not a huge fan of seafood, but I always try it in countries and islands, where it is traditional. And I was worth all the money. The service is kind and fast. The paella plate took more time, but they had warned us before ordering so we knew this information in advance. Also they have shared what type of fish were fresh that day. The fried canarian cheese with jam was amazing, the croquettes and prawns were very good as well. The paella had a very good taste and looked super nice. The only negative thing: they say the bread with sauces is 1 eur. But they don’t let you know that all the pieces of bread are 1-1 eur each (not a basket), which is a bit of a scam.
